Indien onbehandeld, kunnen tandheelkundige cysten ernstige problemen veroorzaken voor uw mondgezondheid.<br>Dit type cyste kan zich op elke tand vormen en wordt meestal aangetroffen aan de kruin van de tand of aan de punt van de wortel. De vorming van tandheelkundige cysten kan vele mogelijke oorzaken hebben, waaronder infectie, trauma of de onjuiste ontwikkeling van een tand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wanneer een cyste zich aanvankelijk vormt, is deze meestal klein, met mogelijk geen infectie, vaak zonder pijn. Het kan worden gedetecteerd door visueel onderzoek, onderzoek van zacht weefsel of op r\u00f6ntgenfoto\u2019s van de tandarts. Naarmate de cyste uitzet, kan het kaakbot verzwakken en tegen de aangrenzende tanden aangedrukt worden, waardoor hun normale functie wordt be\u00efnvloed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bovendien kan het, als het onbehandeld blijft, ge\u00efnfecteerd raken en uitgroeien tot een abces, of zak met pus, die de bacteri\u00eble infectie door het hele lichaam kan verspreiden.<br>Het is belangrijk om samen met uw arts een tandheelkundige cyste zo vroeg mogelijk te behandelen om mogelijke langdurige gevolgen voor uw mondgezondheid te voorkomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2018 Spear Education.
